The granary is made of mud blocks and plastered with mud plaster and then decorated with their famous ‘Digna Paintings ‘. The pathway to the hut has been depicted as a fish. The activity of laying roof tiles on a village hut has been shown by Durga. The two large heads portrayed are that of the Navratri Devi, who protects the household. The long totem signifies ‘Mallu Dev ‘ who protects the children from illness. The two crows feeding each other, on top of the roof signify arrival of guests in the house.
